Saville Fool Programme Cream 1967

A Saville Theatre programme featuring an appearance by Cream, on 2nd July 1967, with support from Jeff Beck & John Mayall. This was Cream's first "psychedelic" performance, the band all decked out in psych gear & Clapton's guitars lowered from above onto the stage. Brian Epstein leased the Saville Theatre for a series of Sunday music concerts throughout 1967, these being NEMS promotions.

The programme features "trippy" artwork by Simon & Marajke (aka the Dutch design team "The Fool"). The Fool had a close connection to The Beatles, decorating pianos for both Lennon & McCartney, George Harrison's mini car, the clothes for the 1967 global TV presentation of "All You Need Is Love" & the 3-storey wall mural for The Beatles Apple boutique in Baker Street.

The programme remains in very good condition (rusty staples & tiny surface paper loss rhs of cover but this does not affect the imagery).
