Pink Floyd 14 Hour Technicolour Dream Poster 1967

One of the most iconic counter-culture poster images (19 1/2"x 28 1/2"), this for the "International Times" 1967 benefit concert at Alexandra Palace termed the "14-Hour Technicolour Dream". The artwork here is by artist Michael McInnerney. NB. This silk-screened poster was glued onto board many years ago, prior to being framed. It shows minor corner damage (pin-holes/tape marks etc) but is guaranteed to be 100% original. A professional restorer may be able to lift the poster from the board but we have left well alone as the poster displays well as is.

The event boasted a diverse conglomeration of poets, mime artists, bands etc. Of particular note were performances by Pink Floyd, Pete Townshend, Graham Bond, The Social Deviants, Yoko Ono, The Creation, Move, Pretty Things etc.

This is an original 1st print poster. Several different colour versions were printed at the time & are original but beware the fakes that emerged 15-20 years ago with a doctored line-up that included "John Lennon". Lennon attended the event as a punter but was never in the line-up & didn't perform (his name being introduced to the poster to boost value).

NB. Due to the size a supplementary P&P charge will be required or otherwise the poster can be collected by appointment.
