Sid Vicious Sex Pistols Autograph 1977

A piece of a magazine page, boldly autographed by Sex Pistol Sid Vicious, with "Bollocks" written above his name, c' 1977-78. This was a common way for Sid to sign autographs during his time as a Sex Pistol. This is a good sized autograph (4 1/2"x 6" maximum).

This item is genuine & comes with excellent provenance having been acquired from the director & writer Alan Parker. Parker was a friend of the Sid's family & has written extensively about the Pistols & Sid Vicious specifically: "Sid's Way" (1991), "Satellite: Sex Pistols" (2000), "Vicious. Too Fast To Live..." (2004) & "No One Is Innocent" (2008). More recently, Parker directed the film documentary "Who Killed Nancy" (2009).

Written provenance will be provided by MEM confirming the above & guaranteeing authenticity.
